Cllr Alan Robins

Alan Robins is a retired salesman who worked in retail paint for many years. He was born in South Portslade and has lived there all his life, he is proud to represent the ward he was born in, he left school at 16 with no qualifications and he served as Mayor of Brighton. From 2020 to 2022 he was Mayor of Brighton, Hove and Portslade, now he chairs CHSTED and is a trustee of the Royal Pavilion and Brighton and Hove Museum. Outside of the Council. Alan is a keen allotment gardener and rents a plot in Portslade as well as enjoying live music and the theater.
