Cllr Josh Guilmant

I grew up in Brighton and Hove and currently teach law at BHASVIC. Coming from a family of teachers I have a lifelong interest in education inspired by my mother who taught at Mile Oak Primary school for the majority of her career.

Before teaching I worked in charity law, believing that that law should be used as a social driver for positive change. 

In my free time, I run and currently serve as Vice Chair of Brighton Phoenix Athletic Club and hold a particular interest in sports provision in the city. I also work as a legal advisor to ‘Wild Philanthropy’, an environmental charity.
